In the south of Tenerife, there is a Catholic service in German during the winter months. It is held in Los Cristianos on Saturdays as a vigil Mass. There is no separate German-speaking parish in the south; the service is organised by the local Spanish parish.

Who organises the service
Unlike in Puerto de la Cruz, there is no independent German-speaking parish in the south of the island with its own parish office and parish newsletter. Mass is provided by the Spanish parish in Los Cristianos and celebrated in German by Father Don José.
The Catholic parish of St Michael in Puerto de la Cruz expressly draws attention to this offer. It is the only German-speaking Catholic parish on Tenerife with its own organisational structure.
Public holiday schedule
At Christmas, Easter and other public holidays, the times are regularly subject to change. As the service is not organised by a German-speaking parish, there is no German parish newsletter for these occasions. The information provided by the local parish is the most reliable source.
Protestant Christians in the south of Tenerife can attend services at the Protestant Congregation of Tenerife South, which holds a service at 12 noon on Sundays.
