Saharan dust: Calima forecast for the Canary Islands
Here you can find the current weather report for your Canary Island:
Today's Canary Islands weather

On Saturday, the Canary Islands will see mostly dry and frequently sunny weather. According to the Spanish meteorological service Aemet, the denser cloud fields will be concentrated mainly on the northern sides of the mountainous islands, whilst longer spells of fine weather will prevail on many southern slopes and along the coasts. A slight influence of the Calima will be particularly noticeable at higher altitudes, causing the air to be somewhat hazy there, without significantly affecting visibility in the lower-lying regions.
Temperatures are generally at summery levels, with minimum temperatures between 19 and 24 degrees and maximum temperatures mostly in the range of 26 to 30 degrees. On some south- and west-facing slopes, as well as in the island's interior, temperatures will climb slightly higher. According to the Aemet's forecast, night-time lows will remain largely consistent, whilst daytime highs in inland areas will rise slightly to moderately in some places and will mostly remain at current levels along the coasts.
The wind will blow mainly from the north-east, reaching moderate strength along the coasts; in typical wind corridors and along the south and west coasts, it will at times be strong, with locally strong gusts at the start and end of the day. At medium altitudes and in mountainous areas, the wind will tend to veer east to south-east and remain lighter there; on Tenerife's highest peaks, however, a moderate south-westerly wind will prevail.

Incidentally, compared to Central Europe, the weather in the Canary Islands is mild and consistent all year round. Average temperatures always remain in double figures. In summer, however, it does not get too hot, as the trade winds provide a pleasant breeze. The average sea temperature is between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, meaning that a beach holiday is possible in the Canary Islands even in winter. A notable weather phenomenon is the Calima. You can find more information about this here.
