Since the start of the year, the 112 emergency centre has reported 42 deaths in traffic accidents and 33 in the water in the Canary Islands.

In Tenerife, a motorcyclist fell on the TF-2 near Parque Comercial La Laguna, in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. She had moderate multiple contusions and was taken to Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
Near Roque Bentayga in Tejeda, Gran Canaria, a 37-year-old man fell several meters on a hiking trail. Emergency crews airlifted him to Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín with head trauma and multiple contusions.
On Avenida de la Constitución in Puerto del Rosario, several people were struck by a car. A 1-year-old child suffered a serious trauma and a 46-year-old man had several minor contusions; both were taken to Hospital General de Fuerteventura.
In Tuineje, on Calle Tindaya in Fuerteventura, a 65-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle. She suffered multiple injuries and was taken in critical condition to Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín.
On Pasaje Aguajilba in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a 61-year-old man was hit by an e-scooter and injured. The Canary Islands emergency medical service took him to Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria with several injuries of moderate condition.
A woman was hit by a vehicle on Calle Joaquín Rodrigo in Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma. The injured woman, about 75, died at the scene. Another woman, 42, had a mild anxiety crisis and was taken to a health center.
At Playa de Esquinzo in La Oliva, a 54-year-old man was pulled from the sea unconscious. Resuscitation attempts failed and he died at the beach; no hospital was mentioned.
On the TF-5 near Somosierra in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a heavy truck overturned and hit a taxi and another car. One driver died, a 42-year-old man was taken in serious condition to Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de La Candelaria, and a 58-year-old man to Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
A car and a motorcycle collided on Avenida Benito Pérez Armas in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife. A 48-year-old woman riding the motorcycle was taken to Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de La Candelaria with moderate injuries.
Two cars collided head-on on the TF-5 near La Guancha, Tenerife. A 24-year-old woman with severe multiple injuries was airlifted to Hospital Universitario de Canarias; a 47-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were taken to Hospital del Norte.
A 50-year-old man fell from his bicycle in Calle Rancho de Pascua Archinech, Tinajo, Lanzarote. He suffered severe polytrauma and was taken to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa.
On the FV-2 in Antigua, a car left the road and overturned. A 36-year-old man suffered a moderate leg injury and was taken to the Hospital General de Fuerteventura.
In Calle Los Barrios in Los Realejos, Tenerife, a 42-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and trapped between the car and a fence. She had several moderate injuries and was taken to Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
In Arrecife, Lanzarote, a car and an e-scooter collided. A 24-year-old woman was treated with a moderate head injury and taken to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa.
In Caleta del Mero, in the municipality of Haría on Lanzarote, a man was rescued from the sea with signs of drowning and cardiac arrest. Emergency teams continued resuscitation, but he died at the scene. No hospital was named.
A 35-year-old man was hit by a vehicle on Avenida Ernesto Sarti in Adeje, Tenerife. He had multiple contusions and was taken to Hospital Quirón Costa Adeje.
A car and a motorcycle collided on Avenida Manuel Hermoso Rojas in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The 52-year-old motorcyclist had several moderate injuries and was taken to Hospital Universitario Hospiten Rambla.
A 69-year-old man was injured while surfing at Playa del Águila in El Cotillo, La Oliva. He had severe head and back trauma and was taken by helicopter to Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria.
On the TF-1 in Adeje, a car and a motorcycle collided. One person was struck by another vehicle, died at the scene and was recovered. No hospital was mentioned.
On Avenida República de Argentina in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, two cars collided. A man and a woman had moderate chest pain and were taken to Hospital Universitario de Canarias and Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. Another woman with minor bruising was taken to Las Mercedes health centre.
A fire broke out in the kitchen of a restaurant in a shopping center on Calle Francisco Andrade Fumero in Arona, Tenerife. Two men, aged 26 and 24, suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to Hospital Quirón Costa Adeje.
