The current weather forecast for La Graciosa
La Graciosa is the smallest of the eight Canary Islands. It has only been recognised as a separate island since the end of 2018. Prior to that, the archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean was considered to consist of just seven islands. Covering an area of just 29 square kilometres, it does not have the same variety of climate zones as the other Canary Islands. It is therefore not useful to distinguish between the weather in the northern and southern parts of the island. Our weather forecast for La Graciosa refers to the island’s beach areas.
La Graciosa is home to just over 700 inhabitants, spread across two towns. The island is visited by only around 25,000 tourists a year. It has neither its own airport nor tarmacked roads. La Graciosa remains largely unspoilt. The main means of transport is the bicycle.

La Graciosa lies off the north coast of Lanzarote. Its climate is influenced by the nearby African continent. It has a subtropical climate with warm temperatures. The warmest months on La Graciosa are typically between July and September.
During this period, average daytime maximum temperatures rise to around 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, with peaks of over 30 degrees possible.
