Teneriffa News is also available as an app. We’re not just online, but also on iOS and Android – so in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. This means you can now read Teneriffa News even more conveniently on your smartphone or tablet – whether you use an Apple device, Google, Samsung, Huawei or other brands: any device running iOS or Android can now find our free app in the relevant store:

All the features available on the website are also available in the app! Conversely, the app has one special feature: the exclusive ‚Bookmark‘ function is really handy. This means you can click on the bookmark icon next to posts in the app and immediately find your saved posts via the bookmarks list at the bottom of the page:
Right next to the ‚Favourites‘ function, you can also easily subscribe to or unsubscribe from push notifications by channel. By clicking in the top right-hand corner, you can also manage your profile at any time (‚Go to profile‘).
It doesn’t matter where members signed up: you can log in across all channels and devices. This means that Teneriffa News is now available to you on all channels!
By the way: If you already have Teneriffa News as an app, that’s only half the story: in the past, you were able to download our „Progressive Web App“ (PWA). That was nothing more than a bookmark that loaded from your device’s home screen. The new, genuine app replaces this PWA. So, if you thought you’d had our app for longer than since the start of August 2026, please delete it first and then download the genuine „Teneriffa News“ app for free from your respective app store.
And finally, a request: Apps can sometimes be a bit finicky. Over the years, Teneriffa News has gained hundreds of features, both big and small. If the app isn’t running quite smoothly, particularly when you first launch it or shortly after an update, please write to us here via our contact form rather than via the App Store. This is the only way we can ensure we find a bug quickly and fix it without any hassle.
