Behind the Anglican Church in Taoro Park

Church services in Puerto de la Cruz
The service begins at 5 pm on Sundays at All Saints Anglican Church in Taoro Park. The parish hall is situated directly behind the church and serves as a meeting place for conversations after the service and for events during the week.
Unlike the local Catholic parish, the venue remains the same throughout the year. Any last-minute changes and the dates of public holidays are listed in the parish newsletter.
The area covered by the Tenerife North parish
Since 2005, the German-speaking Protestant Church in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has consisted of two independent parishes. Tenerife North serves Puerto de la Cruz, Punta del Hidalgo and La Palma. The Tenerife South Parish is responsible for the south of the island as well as for La Gomera and El Hierro.
The congregation is explicitly not aimed solely at Germans. Austrians, Swiss, Dutch and Spanish people also attend the services. The common denominator is the language, not nationality.
How the congregation is organised
The German-speaking Protestant Church in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is recognised in Spain as a religious body (entidad religiosa) and is a member of FEREDE, the umbrella organisation for Spanish Protestant congregations. On the mainland, the Protestant Church in Spain is organised as a federation of independent congregations. There is an agreement in place with the Evangelical Church in Germany.
There are regular links with the neighbouring Catholic parish, and in Puerto de la Cruz there are also ecumenical services. The Catholic parish of St Michael holds its services in the San Telmo Chapel on the promenade.
