On Gran Canaria, the Evangelical Church in Germany runs its own tourism ministry. The base is in Playa del Inglés, and the programme ranges from church services to choirs and concerts, as well as group walks. All the dates are listed in the monthly flyer, which the parish publishes every month:

What the Tourism Parish Office offers
The programme goes well beyond Sunday services. The regular programme includes two choirs, evening music sessions and concerts at the Templo Ecuménico, walks, as well as support for baptisms and weddings on the island.

In future, also responsible for Lanzarote
The Church’s work on the eastern islands is currently being reorganised. The former tourist parish office on Lanzarote has announced that it will be taking its own website offline. Information on the Church’s services on Lanzarote will in future be available via the parish office’s website on Gran Canaria. A new website is due to launch in October 2026.
