Die neunte Ausgabe des Big Bang Vintage Festival findet im Parque de San Telmo statt und verbindet Konzerte mit einem breiten Rahmenprogramm rund um Retro- und Rock-’n’-Roll-Kultur. Dazu zählen ein Market, eine Messe für Vinyl und Sammlerstücke, klassische Fahrzeuge, Kunst, Gastronomie, Tanzworkshops und Angebote für Familien. Außerdem sind Hochzeiten im Stil von Las Vegas Teil des Festivals.
Für das Musikprogramm sind an den Festivaltagen zahlreiche Bands und Acts angekündigt. Am Freitag spielen The Cavaliers, Brian Fa & Los Cohetes Atronadores, Solomon Undertakers, The Kickers und The Dave Hermlin Trio. Für Samstag sind Rockin’ Balboas, The Bucannan, Los Pólipos, Screamin’ Meemies und Les Greene vorgesehen. Am Sonntag treten Rafaelillo Clown, The Pickin’ Boppers, Tropical Voodoo, The Blueberries, OMI, Los Monstruos del Espacio Exterior und Los Toros auf.
Zum Auftakt gehört die Ausstellung Metal Morphosis Bike von Aníbal García in der Biblioteca Insular. Die nächtlichen Feiern werden im Club Mendizábal fortgesetzt. Der Eintritt zum Festival ist frei.
