Puerto de la Cruz holds its rained-off Coso a week late

After the big parade was called off and the Coso postponed by bad weather, comparsas, dance troupes and the Reina del Carnaval finally took over the streets, with costumes poking fun at the town hall and the closed Playa Jardin.

Tenerife Carnival, Puerto de la Cruz Parade, 25 January — The Puerto de la Cruz carnival parade has been rescheduled - it was colourful, lively and organised with great attention to detail. Due to bad weather, the 'Coso' made its way through the town in the north of Tenerife a week later than planned.
