El Sauzal
The municipality of El Sauzal on Tenerife covers an area of 18.49 square metres. The population of El Sauzal is around 9,000. It is connected to the capital via the TF-5 northern motorway. El Sauzal lies around 360 metres above sea level.
Among other things, the municipality is known for the CADF El Sauzal. The „Centro de Atención a Personas con Discapacidad Física“ („Centre for the Care of People with Physical Disabilities“) in El Sauzal has been in operation since January 2016. The town is particularly well-suited to people with disabilities, and wheelchair users are a familiar sight on the streets of El Sauzal. As a public institution, the CADF is carrying out pioneering work in the care of people with physical disabilities.
