Bimbache Trail Valverde: Long-distance run on El Hierro
The Bimbache Trail is the long-distance route of the 7th Bimbache Trail Valverde and runs from the Parador de El Hierro in Las Playas to Valverde. The long-distance race will start on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at 9:30 in Las Playas, at the Parador de El Hierro. The finish line is in Valverde. A bus will depart from Valverde bus station at 8:00 to take participants to the start area.
The route passes through Las Casas, La Llanía, San Andrés and the Ruta del Agua before finishing in Valverde. There will be refreshment points along the way. The race has time limits at La Llanía at 12:30, in San Andrés at 14:00 and at the finish at 15:30.
The organisers would like to remind participants of the mandatory equipment requirements. In the event of rain, several descents may become muddy, particularly on the Ruta del Agua.
Race numbers will be issued on Friday 13 November, from 17:00 to 21:30, at the Casino de Valverde. A meal for participants will also take place there after the race. The medals and trophies will be presented at around 17:00 in front of the Casino. On the same day, the Media Bimbache Trail will start at 11:00 and the Mini Bimbache Trail at 11:45.
