Perinké Big Band: Family concert featuring swing music in Valverde
The Perinké Big Band is performing a family concert entitled ¡Que suene el swing! at the Auditorio de La Peña in Guarazoca. The evening will be hosted by Ximo Martínez, with Raquel Amegashie appearing as the singer. The concert is part of the 'En Paralelo' series at the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias. With ¡Que suene el swing!, the Perinké Big Band is bringing a family concert to Guarazoca in the municipality of Valverde on El Hierro. Ximo Martínez is the musical director, whilst Raquel Amegashie will be providing the vocals.
The performance is part of the 'En Paralelo' series at the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias. The festival runs from 9 January to 4 February 2027. As part of this series, the concert will also be staged on Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Gomera and La Palma.
The venue is the Auditorio de La Peña on the Carretera General del Norte in Guarazoca. A flat-rate ticket price of five euros applies to the concert. General ticket sales begin on 16 December 2026.
