The Festival Arena Negra arts and crafts market brings handmade and local products to Plaza Tran Tran in Gran Tarajal over two days. Craftspeople and producers showcase and sell their work in an environment that supports local trade and culture on Fuerteventura. Entry is free and the event is suitable for all ages.
The market is designed as a meeting place for local arts and crafts and regional produce. Works that combine tradition and creativity are displayed and sold. In this way, the event celebrates the craft traditions of Fuerteventura whilst also creating a space where visitors can interact with the local community.
The initiative comes from the Trade Department of the Tuineje Local Council. The aim is to raise the profile of talent from the Canary Islands and to promote cultural exchange between visitors and locals. The market runs for two days in Plaza Tran Tran in Gran Tarajal and is open to all age groups with free admission.
