Sal y Arte in El Cotillo, featuring shows, music and stars
Sal y Arte is a festival evening in the streets of El Cotillo featuring aerial acrobatics, dance, street music, singing and stargazing. The programme takes place between Plaza 3 de Abril and the harbour and is also suitable for families. Performances and parades take place in turn from 18:30 to 22:30, whilst the stargazing session runs from 21:00 to 23:00 in Callejón del Risco.

Saturday is the main day of the 11th Sal y Arte Festival organised by the municipality of La Oliva in El Cotillo. The programme kicks off at 18:30 with the aerial acrobatics show 'Onyria Circus' by Stefi de Bosque Tabaibart. This is followed at 19:30 by 'Baktana' by the Compañía Lazuz.
Afterwards, the 101 Brass Band will parade through the town twice as a street music ensemble, at 20:10 and again at 22:10. At 20:40, Daniel Navarro will perform the dance piece 'El Amor'. At 21:30, Aerial Espectáculos will present the 'Twilight Show', followed at 21:40 by a performance from local artist Carla Carballo.
At the same time, from 21:00 to 23:00, there will be stargazing with Astrociencianomada in the Callejón del Risco. The festival evening will conclude at 22:30 with "Dolce Salato" by Cía Carpa Diem. The events will take place along the streets between Plaza 3 de Abril, also known as Plaza Vieja, and the harbour of El Cotillo.
