«Hagamos un Trato» is a dramatised reading featuring poetry, a baritone and live piano. Petra Martínez performs texts by leading Spanish-language poets, accompanied by Luis Santana and the pianist Víctor Carbajo. The performance is aimed at young people aged twelve and over and adults, and lasts 70 minutes. Tickets are available from the organiser.
This staged reading combines words, music and emotion to take the audience on a journey through love, memory and life. The programme features a selection of poetic texts by Mario Benedetti, Pablo Neruda, Federico García Lorca, Amado Nervo and Joaquín Dicenta.
Petra Martínez recites the texts in an accessible, deeply emotional interpretation. She is accompanied by baritone Luis Santana and live music by Víctor Carbajo on the piano. Carbajo is also responsible for the original arrangements, which blend recitation and music into a unified stage performance.
The performance takes place at the Teatro Auditorio Agüimes and is recommended for audience members aged twelve and over. The performance lasts 70 minutes.
