«Memoria de pez» is a theatrical adventure for families that transports memory and art into an aquarium brimming with reality and fantasy. The play tells the story of Martina and draws on the «Gran Teatro de la Pescadería», a series of comic illustrations from Galdós's youth. It is performed in the Main Auditorium of the Teatro Pérez Galdós.

The original play takes its cue from the 'Gran Teatro de la Pescadería', a series of comic illustrations drawn by Benito Pérez Galdós in his youth. This gives rise to a theatrical journey in which Martina harnesses her imagination in the service of memory.
'Memoria de pez' is also intended as a tribute to all those who create art and keep it alive: to artists, to the audience and, with a touch of humour, to fish of all kinds. At its heart lies the value of a shared, often invisible heritage.
The performance on 12 December 2026 begins at 18:00 in the Main Auditorium of the Teatro Pérez Galdós on Plaza Stagno in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A second performance of the play has also been announced for 13 December at 12 noon.
