Pilgrimage with offerings to Nuestra Señora de La Luz
The Romería-Ofrenda is a pilgrimage with offerings in honour of Nuestra Señora de La Luz, leading from the Parque de Santa Catalina to the parish church in La Isleta. A romería is a traditional pilgrimage with a festive atmosphere. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food. After the procession, the Misa de Romeros takes place in the church, accompanied by singing from the group Los Sancochos.

The procession sets off on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at 18:00 from the Parque de Santa Catalina in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The route passes through Luis Morote, General Vives, Sagasta, Tenerife, Albareda and Juan Rejón, ending at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de La Luz in La Isleta.
As part of the Romería, non-perishable food items are requested as offerings. The Misa de Romeros begins in the church at 19:00. The Eucharist will be sung by the group Los Sancochos.
The pilgrimage forms part of the programme for the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval. In the evening, this is followed by a Fiesta Parrandera at 21:30 and a Verbena Parrandera at 23:00.
