The 1st Carrera Urbana VGR is a night-time road race in Valle Gran Rey, featuring five- and ten-kilometre routes. The race takes place on tarmac, starting at the Plaza de San Pedro, following the Avenida Marítima and passing through the Puerto de Vueltas area. There is also a one-kilometre junior race for children.

The first edition of the Carrera Urbana VGR is a night-time race through Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera. The start is at the Plaza de San Pedro in La Calera. From there, the route runs along the Avenida Marítima and through the Puerto de Vueltas area.
There are two distances for the main race: five kilometres for beginners and 10 kilometres for experienced runners. The programme is complemented by a one-kilometre junior race aimed at the youngest participants.
The race starts on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at 20:00. Entry is free.
