The 37th edition of the running event comprises four races over four consecutive days. On Sunday, the 10-kilometre Vince Regan Memorial Classic Road Run starts and finishes at the Club La Santa stadium. The course consists of three laps around the La Santa lagoon, mainly on tarmac. The time limit is one hour and 30 minutes.
On Monday, the 13-kilometre Ridge Run follows, also starting and finishing at the stadium. The route takes runners along nature trails and tarmac roads around one of the volcanoes near Club La Santa. The time limit for this race is two hours and 30 minutes. On Tuesday, the 5-kilometre Beach Run in Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen, is on the programme. Participants will run two laps on soft sand, with buses taking them to the beach. The time limit here is also one hour and 30 minutes.
The event concludes on Wednesday with La Vuelta de Tinajo, covering 21 kilometres. The run starts in Tinajo and finishes at the Club La Santa stadium. The route follows tarmac, natural tracks and, for the final 300 metres, the stadium track. The time limit is three hours.
On Saturday 21 November, from 14:00 to 18:00, race packs will be handed out at the Square in Club La Santa. A Night Run for children will begin there at 18:00, followed by the Club La Santa Night Run at 19:00. Anyone taking part in at least one race in the International Running Challenge can join the Night Run at no extra cost. On each day of the competition, there will be an awards ceremony in the evening on the Square; on Wednesday at 20:30.
Each day, the top three men and women in each race will be awarded prizes, as well as the winners of each age group. Anyone who completes all four races will receive a Challenge medal. All participants will also receive a running shirt. Registration is open until 12 noon on 16 November 2026, provided that places have not been fully booked before then. On-site registration is not available. Accident insurance is included in the registration fee.
