Palabras al Vuelo: International Storytelling Festival
Palabras al Vuelo is an international storytelling festival on Lanzarote featuring oral storytelling and other events centred around the art of storytelling. The events will take place from 8 to 18 October 2026 at various venues across the island. The programme is aimed at adults and families alike and brings together storytellers from a range of countries.
The Palabras al Vuelo Festival will bring the art of storytelling to Lanzarote from 8 to 18 October 2026. The programme will feature performances of oral storytelling as well as other activities centred around spoken storytelling. Events will take place at various venues across the island, including in Haría.
The programme is designed for both adult visitors and families. Storytellers from various countries and with different backgrounds will be taking part. The festival thus sees itself as a hub for international, live storytelling at several venues across Lanzarote. Information on admission is available from the organiser.
