At the fourth edition of the Encuentro Adobo y Vino, the Plaza del Socorro will be the venue for a celebration of adobo recipes from Tegueste and wines from local bodegas. Seven local residents will present family recipes, which will be tasted together. The event showcases the community's gastronomy, traditions and local produce.
The Encuentro Adobo y Vino will take place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 13:00 at the Plaza del Socorro in Tegueste. This is the fourth time the local council has organised an event to showcase the local cuisine and traditional recipes.
The focus is on various adobo dishes, originating from families in Tegueste. Seven local residents will bring their own family recipes and share them with the public during a tasting session. Wines from local vineyards will also be served.
The event has been held in this square since 2023 and is intended as a gathering place centred on gastronomy, local produce and community spirit. The day will be accompanied by live music.
