The focus is on the publication "Hecho aquí. Oficios que mantienen viva la memoria de Icod". The book highlights crafts that have been passed down through the generations in Icod de los Vinos and are still practised today in local workshops. It pays tribute to the men and women whose knowledge, creativity and daily labour help to preserve these traditional trades.
The town describes these crafts as part of the history, tradition, knowledge and identity of Icod de los Vinos. The book shines a light on the people who, with their own hands, keep alive trades that are closely linked to the town's heritage. As such, the launch is not only a cultural event but also a contribution to the preservation of local heritage.
The presentation will take place on Friday 16 October 2026 at 18:00 at the Icod de los Vinos Municipal Theatre. The initiative is organised by the town council's Culture and Trade departments. Admission is free.
