On this evening, the Catalan company La Taimada combines two pieces into a journey from white to red, from life to death, and from collapse to surrender and forgiveness. Both works were created by Olga Álvarez and Jordi Cabestany and explore beauty, fragility and violence within human beings.
'Filia et Fobia' was created during lockdown. The piece relies on a sterile, sculptural simplicity and explores the need to endure and preserve beauty. It features Clio Van Kerm and Marta Pajares Calle, with music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
'La Mort' lasts 20 minutes and is conceived as a staged work exploring the fragility and violence of human nature. The piece utilises bodies, movement, performative actions and dreamlike imagery. The performers are Angie Mas, Olga Álvarez and Jordi Cabestany, with music by Carlos Martorell.
Standard admission is 8 euros. Concession tickets at 5 euros are available for pupils of the Teatro Victoria and other groups. There will be a post-performance discussion following the performance on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
