The series of events organised by the Ateneo de La Laguna and the Museo LM Arte Colección invites visitors to explore the collection from a different perspective on four Saturdays in October, each at 12 noon. All events will take place at the LM Arte Colección in La Laguna and combine a visit to the museum with dance, music and performance art.
On 3 October, Javier Arozena will lead a guided tour of the museum and present the work "Intruso", offering a fresh interpretation of the permanent collection through the medium of contemporary dance. On 10 October, choreographer Natalia Jiménez will lead a tour that brings together dance and painting in a shared artistic experience.
'Diálogos con la tradición' with Acerina Hernández Toledo is scheduled for 17 October. This performance-based piece centres on memory, tradition and contemporary artistic creation. The series concludes on 24 October with an event featuring Virginia Arencibia and Alba Gil Aceytuno, combining dance, music and a discussion on the coexistence of different art forms.
