Festival of Canarian Parrandas and Verbena in Valle Tabares

The evening forms part of the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Valle Tabares, a district of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. The festivities run from 26 September to 10 October 2026. The Canary Islands Parrandas festival begins on Friday 9 October at 21:00.
This will be followed by a verbena with the Orquesta Gomeray. This refers to an open-air dance evening, a staple of many local festivals on the Canary Islands. 9 October is therefore the penultimate evening of the festivities, before the celebrations draw to a close on Saturday with the final verbena.
On the same day, the Gran Día del Niño for children is scheduled for 17:00. The programme has been organised by the festival committee, and the event is supported by the City of La Laguna.
