La Laguna Book Fair (Feria del Libro de La Laguna)
The Feria del Libro de La Laguna is a book fair held in Plaza del Cristo in La Laguna, featuring authors, bookshops, publishers and a cultural programme. From 8 to 12 October, the Plaza del Cristo in La Laguna will become the hub for literature in the Canary Islands. More than 80 authors, 30 bookshops and 20 publishers and institutions have been announced for the 2026 edition. According to the event's website, this represents the largest participation by the book trade in the past 15 years.
The programme includes appearances by well-known figures from contemporary literature, book launches, book signings, discussions and awards ceremonies. There will also be a supporting programme for various target groups, featuring performing arts, music and other formats across the fair's various areas and marquees.
