On Friday 9 October, the book fair in La Laguna will be taking place at the Plaza del Cristo, with events running from morning until evening. Book launches and talks will begin at 16:00 in the literary areas: Espacio Alfonso García-Ramos, Espacio Alicia Llarena and Espacio Zona Cero. Among the titles to be presented are "El cartón de las quince edades" by Lana Corujo, "Regreso a mí" by Elena Torres Álamo, "Los viajes de Tanausú por los mundos fantásticos" by María Jesús Cano and "Maldita fortuna" by Myriam M. Lejardi.
In the early evening, further presentations will follow, featuring Antonio Carmona and "El sueño del gurugú", Daniel Comin Pérez and "El patrón perfecto", as well as Carlota Juncosa with "Malas ideas" in conversation with Almudena Cruz. Later on, the programme includes "Cuenteando con Pepa Aurora", new releases from Editorial Genealógica Canaria, "Que arda" by Inma Luna, 'Los Molinos. Nuestro barrio Lagunero' with Lorena Rojas Rivero and Kina Rojas Suárez, 'Nivaria. El legado de Sunta' by José Vicente Delgado Velázquez, 'La madre hueca' by Ismael Lozano Latorre and 'El príncipe lagarto' by Marcos Dosantos with Verónica Galán. At 20:30, an event on 'Amaro Pargo' will take place at the Espacio Alfonso García-Ramos, featuring Manuel de Paz, Daniel García Pulido and Francisco Braian Cabrera Alonso.
Book signings are scheduled for 18:00 with Myriam M. Lejardi and 19:00 with Carlota Juncosa. The cultural programme includes a theatrical tour for school groups in the Plaza from 10:30 to 13:00, workshops with Carolina Purpurina, Latin yoga workshops, and, at 11:00, a storytelling workshop with Heriberto Alvarado and Carolina Purpurina at the Espacio de las Palabras. A discussion entitled 'Café de las palabras: autoficción' will also take place there.
In the afternoon, the programme is rounded off with activities beyond the book presentations: from 17:00 to 20:00, the Tendedero will host a virtual reality zone and an obstacle course experience by Street Alley. In addition, at 17:00 there will be TEMPLETE, a literary debate at the Espacio Ventanas de Colores, and at 19:00 a further literary debate on stage.
