The festivities in Machado combine religious celebrations with a programme of folk festivities. They began on 27 September with a pilgrimage to the Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, setting off from the Ermita de las Rosas. On Saturday 3 October, the EA8RCC radio activation will take place at 9:00 at the Ermita ETF-092 Nuestra Señora del Rosario. From 22:00, the Verbena will feature music from the Revelación, David Pérez and Wamampy orchestras.
On Sunday 4 October, the programme includes the Rosary at 12 noon, followed by the Eucharist and a procession at 12:30. At 18:00, another Verbena begins with Los Ideales, and at 20:30 the procession proceeds to El Calvario, ending with a fireworks display. Further services will take place on Tuesday, 6 October, at 17:30 with the Rosary and at 18:00 with the Eucharist, as well as on Wednesday, 7 October, at 18:30 with the Rosary and at 19:00 with the Eucharist. That evening will also feature a musical tribute to the Virgen del Rosario with the Pulso y Púa groups from UPER, AF Amigos de La Esperanza, AF Sueños de Mount Teide and AF Idayra.
Things will get sporty on Saturday 10 October from 16:00 with the third Circular Brutal Trail Machado 2026. In the evening, from 21:30, there will be a verbena featuring Saoco, Acapulco and Grupo Son Sabor. On Sunday, 11 October, the Rosary will be recited from 12 noon, followed by the Eucharist and a procession at 12:30, and the fourth Festival de Solistas Nuestra Señora del Rosario, a tribute to Elías Rodríguez, will begin at 17:30. The line-up includes Marco del Castillo as musical director, Leyla Melo, Pedro Manuel Afonso, Nico Delgado, José Manuel Ramos, Ramón Jerez, Luis Ramos and other guest soloists. This will be followed at 21:30 by a verbena featuring Revelación and the Malibú Band.
The festival concludes on Monday 12 October with Family Day. A food court will be open from 11.00 to 21.00, and a games area from 14.00 to 20.00. On stage, from 12.00, there will be a performance by the XXXIV Congreso de Bandas de Música, at 13:30 the Rebeca Frías dance group, at 16:00 Show Time World, at 17:30 a Juan Luis Guerra tribute by the Orquesta Sabrosa, at 19:00 the flamenco group Estefanía Luque and at 19:30 a concert by Anaé.
