The opening ceremony for the 51st Subida a Tamaimo will take place in the Plaza de Puerto de Santiago in Santiago del Teide. It is listed in the council's calendar for 20:00. From 21:00, the vehicles will be transferred from Playa La Arena to the show parc fermé on the TF-454 near the Mirador de Archipenque. This area will remain in place until 23:00.
Organisational preparations for the race will already be underway in the afternoon: the distribution of race documents is scheduled for 14:45 to 19:45. Technical scrutineering will take place from 15:00 to 20:00 on Avenida Marítima in Playa La Arena.
Road closures will be in place in the Los Gigantes area from 18:00 on Friday until 19:00 on Saturday.
