The comedy tells the story of La Partenaire, the daughter of a not particularly talented magician whose career came to an abrupt end following a trick. Determined to restore her brilliant mentor's reputation, she gathers accounts from the people who were there at the time. The result is an unusual story about memory, the stage and illusion.
Cristina Medina takes the lead role on stage. She plays the various characters, sings and performs magic tricks. The performance is accompanied musically by Pablo Jara on the piano and Mario Quixal on the drums.
The performance begins at 20:00 at the Teatro El Sauzal and lasts approximately 70 minutes. It is recommended for ages 16 and over. Standard admission is 15 euros; the reduced price is 12 euros for students, those under 25, those over 65 and residents of El Sauzal.
Tickets are available from the theatre offices at Calle Constitución 3, in the annexe to the town hall, from Tuesday to Friday between 8:00 and 15:00. The box office also opens 90 minutes before the performance begins. Concessions are only available at the box office.
