Pilgrimage route from San Isidro to Barranco Las Lajas
The Paseo romero is a traditional procession held as part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Barranco Las Lajas. It begins at Santo Domingo in San Isidro and proceeds to the square in Barranco Las Lajas. There, the festival committee serves a Canarian meal to the rondallas and all participants. The procession forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Barranco Las Lajas, Tacoronte. It begins at 12 noon in San Isidro. From there, the Paseo romero, accompanied by Santo Domingo, makes its way to the square in Barranco Las Lajas.
A joint closing ceremony is planned for the arrival. The festival committee will host the rondallas and the participants of the Paseo romero with a meal from the Canary Islands. The event is organised by the festival committee and the municipality of Tacoronte. According to the programme, times and performances are subject to change depending on the weather.
