Socorro Classic 2026: five surfing competitions in Los Realejos
The Socorro Classic brings together five surfing competitions over almost two weeks at El Socorro beach in Los Realejos. The programme includes European tours in longboard and bodyboard, the Spanish Junior Surf Series, the Canary Islands Surf Open and a club competition. There will also be live music, films, workshops and demonstrations. The event is aimed at all age groups and is also suitable for families.

From 6 to 18 October, Playa de El Socorro in Los Realejos will host the Socorro Classic. According to the organisers, around 300 athletes have registered. The competitions will take place across several formats and days.
The European Longboard Tour kicks things off from 6 to 8 October. This is followed by the European Bodyboard Tour from 7 to 10 October. On 11 and 12 October, the Spanish Junior Surf Series and the Canary Islands Surf Open are on the programme. The series concludes at the weekend of 17 and 18 October with a club competition in surfing, bodyboarding and longboarding.
Alongside the sporting competitions, there will be a supporting programme featuring films, workshops, demonstrations and live music. The Socorro Classic Sounds music evenings are scheduled for Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, Sunday 11th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October.
There are no fixed start times for each day of competition, as surfing is dependent on sea conditions. The event is suitable for families and all age groups.
