San Juan de la Rambla is situated on the TF-5 northern motorway. The town has a population of around 5,000 and lies south-west of the capital, Santa Cruz, and north of Reina Sofia Airport. The municipality of San Juan de la Rambla covers an area of around 21 square kilometres. The average altitude above sea level is 100 metres.
