Atogo

Atogo is a village-like settlement. The little town is situated a few kilometres above Tenerife South Airport. Two restaurants serving typical Canary Islands cuisine invite you to come and explore. Atogo lies around 150 metres above sea level. The village is an ideal destination, particularly for tourists who are looking for a place in the south but wish to avoid mass tourism. Conveniently, Atogo is situated close to the southern motorway, making it a good base for day trips. Nevertheless, there is no disruptive traffic noise. The beautiful beaches of El Medano are within easy reach via the motorway. They are only about five kilometres away and, for holidaymakers who enjoy walking, are even within walking distance. By car, the journey takes less than ten minutes. Atogo is a largely unknown place on Tenerife. However, this could soon change: the government is planning to build a Formula 1 circuit in Atogo.
