A day at the beach in Puerto Lajas with a rubber ring festival and a regatta
On Puerto Lajas beach, there will be a day of festivities featuring a children's programme, inflatable water bounces, a rubber ring party and the first Jolateros regatta. Jolateros are traditional little tin boats. The programme is aimed particularly at families and beachgoers and forms part of the celebrations in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino. Dúo Dinamita will be performing.

The beach day in Puerto Lajas forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino, which will be celebrated from 6 to 12 October 2026. On Saturday, the programme gets underway right on Playa de Puerto Lajas.
From 11:00, the festivities will kick off with children's entertainment, a gymkhana and inflatable water bounces. At 12.00 noon, the rubber ring festival will follow, featuring a performance by Dúo Dinamita. This will also include Puerto Lajas' first rubber ring race. According to the announcement, participants are invited to bring along their favourite rubber ring.
The first Jolateros regatta is scheduled for 13:00. These traditional little tin boats will bring the beach day to a close. The programme is organised by the Comisión de Fiestas de Puerto Lajas 2026, which reserves the right to make changes to times and programme items.
