The highlight of the festivities is the solemn service at 12 noon in the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Puerto del Rosario. Afterwards, the traditional procession carrying the venerated image winds its way through the town's streets.
The day begins much earlier: at 5:00, the Diana Floreada gets underway, accompanied by the Banda de Agaete and Papagüevos. The procession ends in the church square, where hot chocolate is served to the night owls.
After the service and procession, the programme continues at 14:00 with the Brindis Popular. This public toast takes place in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, once again featuring the Banda de Agaete.
