Camerata Iberia is performing at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos de Fuerteventura with a programme for countertenor and vihuelas. The performers are Gabriel Díaz on countertenor, Carlos Oramas on the vihuela, and Juan Carlos de Mulder on the vihuela, who is also conducting.
The programme features works by Francesco da Milano, Juan del Encina, Francisco de la Torre, Josquin des Prés, Tomás Luis de Victoria, from the “Cancionero de Upsala”, as well as by Luis de Narváez, Diego Ortiz and Alonso Mudarra. The concert is part of the “En Paralelo” series within the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias.
The festival runs from 9 January to 4 February 2027. As part of the festival, this programme will also be performed on La Graciosa and Lanzarote. A standard ticket price of 15 euros applies for the concert in Puerto del Rosario; general ticket sales begin on 16 December 2026.
