FIMC 2027: Recital with Mario Marzo and Nacho Castellanos
At the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias, pianist Mario Marzo and countertenor Nacho Castellanos will be performing «La forma del silencio» in Puerto del Rosario. The recital combines music with stories, anecdotes and revelations. The programme features works by Dowland, Purcell, Schumann and Wagner, as well as the Spanish premiere of Stephen Hough's «Three Grave Songs».

'La forma del silencio' forms part of the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias and brings Mario Marzo on piano and the countertenor Nacho Castellanos to the stage of the Palacio de Formación y Congresos de Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario. The programme is structured as a recital and interweaves musical works with storytelling, anecdotes and revelations.
The programme features compositions by J. Dowland, H. Purcell, R. Schumann and R. Wagner. It also includes S. Hough's "Three Grave Songs", which are announced as their Spanish premiere as part of the festival programme.
The concert forms part of the 2027 FIMC, which takes place from 9 January to 4 February 2027. As part of the festival, this recital can also be experienced on La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. A flat-rate ticket price of 15 euros applies for the evening in Puerto del Rosario.
