Ndjou Ndjou is a dance piece combining contemporary dance and traditional acrobatics. Ekilibro Noah's choreography blends hip-hop with Mbali Etoudi, a traditional acrobatic dance from Cameroon, and bridges the gap between Cameroonian rituals and contemporary hip-hop culture. The piece is performed by Noah and Koh Ngaba Anicet, with music by Yvan Talbo. Admission is free.

Ndjou Ndjou was created in 2024 under the direction of the Cameroonian choreographer and dancer Ekilibro Noah at the Compagnie Obosso. The piece combines hip-hop with Mbali Etoudi, thereby drawing on two very different movement languages. At its heart lies the tension between traditional Cameroonian rites and contemporary hip-hop culture.
The choreography is by Ekilibro Noah, who also performs on stage himself. He is joined by Koh Ngaba Anicet. The original music is by Yvan Talbo and carries the performance with its drum rhythms and movement.
The production will be staged at the Auditorio Insular de Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario. Admission is free, but a free ticket is available via the booking page provided.
