The piece was created in 2024 by the Cameroonian choreographer and dancer Ekilibro Noah with the Obosso company. It combines contemporary and traditional acrobatic dance and explores the space between Cameroonian rituals and contemporary hip-hop culture.
The choreography is by Ekilibro Noah, who dances alongside Koh Ngaba Anicet. The original music is by Yvan Talbo. Through drum rhythms and movement, the production draws on Cameroon's cultural heritage and relates it to a contemporary dance language.
'Ndjou Ndjou' will be performed at the Auditorio Insular de Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario. The performance lasts 45 minutes; admission is free.
