The Fiestas Juradas de San Miguel Arcángel in Tuineje commemorate the battles of Cuchillete and Tamasite in 1740. The romería on 12 October is one of the key events in the programme of these festivities, which will take place from 25 September to 18 October 2026.
On the day of the pilgrimage, farmers and pilgrims gather in Corral Blanco from 16:30. At 18:00, the procession sets off from there, featuring floats, folk dance groups and parrandas, heading towards Plaza San Miguel. The procession concludes there with an offering of local produce to Señor San Miguel and the procession of the Fogaleras.
Later that evening, at 22:00, the Romeros' dance takes place, featuring the Parrandas El Campillo and Pal Porrón. A fireworks display by Piromar is scheduled for midnight.
