Pilgrimage of Nuestra Señora del Pino to Puerto Lajas
The Romería of Nuestra Señora del Pino is a festive pilgrimage from Puerto del Rosario to the chapel in Puerto Lajas. In the Canary Islands, a romería is a communal procession of a religious nature. Visitors dressed in Canarian traditional costume are welcome to take part. The meeting point is at the church in Puerto del Rosario, followed by the departure, a festive mass and a procession by land and sea.

The pilgrimage takes place on the final day of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino in Puerto Lajas, which are celebrated from 6 to 12 October. It begins at the Plaza de la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Puerto del Rosario. The gathering there starts at 10:00, with the procession scheduled to set off at 11:00.
From Puerto del Rosario, the procession follows the old coastal path to the Ermita in Puerto Lajas. Anyone taking part should wear traditional Canary Islands dress. Pack animals are not permitted during the Romería.
At the chapel in Puerto Lajas, the programme continues with a festive mass at 13:00. This is followed at 13:30 by the procession on land and by sea.
