Pilgrimage to the Virgen del Rosario in Puerto del Rosario
The procession in honour of the patron saint, the Virgen del Rosario, is the traditional highlight of Saturday's festivities in Puerto del Rosario. Outside the church, dancers from San Andrés on El Hierro perform alongside folk groups, neighbourhood associations and other local organisations. The evening's programme then continues with folk music in the square and a concert at the festival grounds.

The procession begins at 18:45 at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Puerto del Rosario. The focus is on the patron saint, the Virgen del Rosario. Taking part are the dancers from San Andrés on El Hierro, as well as folk groups, neighbourhood associations and other local organisations.
The celebration is the main traditional event on Saturday during the festival. Afterwards, the evening continues from 20:30 with the 21st Amolán Folk Music Festival in the square. This will be followed at 22:00 by a concert by the Orquesta Mondragón at the Recinto Ferial.
