"Influencers" brings together the six winning scripts from the 13th Monologue Festival organised by the Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The programme features 'Cállate mejor' by Antigona Katsadima, 'Olas' by Kilian Corujo, 'Tres años' by Luís Omalley, 'Yo me follé a Federico García Lorca' by Javier Estévez, 'Cuarto y mitad de desengaño' by Tomás Afán Muñóz and 'La boda del año' by Gracia Flores.
The production features dramaturgy by Gracia Flores and Carlos Alonso Callero. The cast comprises Gracia Flores, Raquel Troya, Berta Mola and Kilian Corujo, with Carlos Alonso Callero directing. The stories explore the relationship between theatre and the digital world through comic, poetic and wild tones.
The focus is on social media, smartphones and an artificial intelligence capable of accessing the entire digitalised universe. The evening is conceived as an encounter between theatre and these contemporary tools and images, and as an attempt to counter them with something of its own on stage.
Two performances are planned at the Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Friday 16 October 2026 and Saturday 17 October 2026, both at 19:30. The performance lasts approximately one and a half hours. Admission costs 12 euros; the show is recommended for ages 13 and over.
