Abubukaka was founded in 2006 as a theatre group specialising in humour, satire and surrealism. To mark its anniversary, the group is bringing together some of its most popular moments with the audience over two consecutive evenings. Part one looks back at the early years and revisits the group's first bits of madness, well-known characters and early sketches.
The show weaves between memories, parodies and unexpected twists, whilst remaining true to the group's signature style: irreverent, biting and absurd. The anniversary edition also features references to the group's own career, as well as the odd surprise appearance.
The cast includes Amanhuy Calayanes, Diego Lupiañez, Víctor Hubara and Carlos Pedrós. Unlike previous programmes, the anniversary show is spread over two evenings. The second part follows on 13 November and focuses more on the group's present and future.
