MASDANZA, the Canary Islands' International Festival of Contemporary Dance, is moving its competition programme for solos and choreographies to the Teatro Pérez Galdós in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria over two evenings. The programme features short works that bring together different styles and perspectives within contemporary dance.
The competition serves as a meeting place for emerging choreographers and soloists. For the audience, this provides a comprehensive overview of current works from various countries and featuring different artistic approaches. The performances will take place in the Sala Principal.
A performance duration of 60 minutes has been announced for 15 October 2026, from 20:00 to 21:00. Another competition session is scheduled for 16 October 2026 at the same time. Tickets are available from the Teatro Pérez Galdós.
