The eleventh edition of 360º The Challenge will take place on Gran Canaria from 4 to 8 November 2026. The race covers a technically demanding long-distance course of around 260 kilometres, with approximately 13,000 metres of ascent and 13,000 metres of descent. The route is unmarked. Participants run individually and navigate solely using GPS and maps.
The race starts in the municipality of Gáldar. The 2026 edition runs from Wednesday to Sunday, with race numbers being issued on 3 November. During the race, participants must carry a comprehensive set of compulsory equipment. The regulations set out exactly which equipment is required. The organisers will provide a bag for each aid station.
Four to six so-called 'Bases de Vida' are planned along the route. These locations will be announced one month before the race. They will offer food, drinks, rest areas and the opportunity to charge devices. These are also the only places where external assistance is permitted. Along the way, participants may also stop at shops and restaurants.
The event has been part of the Gran Canaria Ultratrail calendar since 2017 and is based on the same core concept as in previous years: a very long distance, self-navigation and several days on the trail. According to the event website, Claire Bannwarth, Anita Lehmann and Luca Papi, amongst others, will be returning to the starting line in 2026.
