Barrial Sunday Market with live music and a Christmas theme
At the Sunday market in Barrial, small traders and producers sell fruit, vegetables, cheese, honey, sweets and handicrafts. There is live music, special offers and prize draws, this time with a Christmas theme. The market usually takes place on the first Sunday of the month but has been moved to the second Sunday at the request of the stallholders. Admission is free.
The Barrial Sunday market takes place in Plaza José Rodríguez Quintana. On offer are fruit and vegetables, cheese, honey, sweets and pastries, as well as handcrafted goods, culinary products and other items from small traders, producers and start-ups.
The Orquesta Línea Latina will be providing the music. There will also be activities and prize draws. The November edition has a Christmas theme, giving a taste of the festive atmosphere to come in the weeks ahead.
The market is usually held on the first Sunday of every month. In November, however, it is moved to the second Sunday for organisational reasons relating to the stallholders. The Amagro neighbourhood association invites residents of Barrial, Gáldar and the wider region to visit the market.
