The presentation of “La ínsula dicha” is conceived as a convivial evening of literature and music. The focus is on the book by Tomás Sánchez Rodríguez, whose writings bring together poetry, poetic prose, family memories, reflections, humour and impressions of the landscape and nature. These are complemented by pieces of a more essayistic nature.
Aida Roma will provide musical accompaniment for the book presentation. The singer-songwriter will perform her own songs, accompanying herself on the guitar. The evening thus combines a reading, poetry and music in a single programme.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 19:00 at the Centro Cultural CICCA, Alameda de Colón 1, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
