The Desfile anunciador unofficially kicks off the 2027 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival. During the parade, carnival groups, characters and the reigning titleholders march through the city. The contenders for the throne also take part in the parade. The event fills the city with rhythm and colour even before the official start.
It kicks off on Friday 22 January 2027 at 19:30. The published route begins on Calle Juan Rejón in the La Isleta district and leads to Parque Santa Catalina. The starting point is Calle Juan Rejón, opposite the La Isleta fire station.
The parade is part of the official 2027 Carnival programme, which has the theme 'La música'. This will be followed that same evening at 21:00 by the Pregón in Parque Santa Catalina, meaning that the two events take place immediately one after the other.
